PS interior security Dr. Karanja Kibicho jailed for failing to pay Nyayo house torture victim Michael Mahugu Sh 2.65 Million. According to High Court Judge justice George Odunga, Kibicho declined the court order of paying the victim a lump sum.

The interior ministry led by Joseph Nkaissery emerged to be the top in injustices and corruption. The high court judge ordered the Inspector General Mr. Joseph Boinnett to arrest him Immediately and take him to court. "No one is above the law, if you made a mistake then you deserve a punishment." Justice George Odunga said.

The High court Judge sentences interior PS Karanja Kibicho to 3 months imprisonment in absentia, this comes after a couple of days the magistrate ordered the arrest and prosecution of senior govt. officials among them interior CS Nkaiserry for defying court orders.

Justice Odunga becomes the first judge to prosecute and jail high ranking government officials who disobey court orders. The three Months term given has no bailout. The high court orders come also after the newly appointed chief justice David Maraga ordered all the judges to follow the law or be discharged from their duties. Now it is a wake-up call to all corrupt leaders that the Judiciary has no space for them but only in prison.
