The Mombasa county government on the spot over the town cleanness. Some parts of the Central Business District have been changed to dump sites. According to the sources, the areas that have obscenity accumulated includes; Majengo, King'orani, Makupa and Mbarak in Kizingo.
The residents in those areas urged the county government to take actions on the dump sites to avoid disease in this short rain season. The resident also added that if the county government will not take an action then there will be demonstration all over the filthy areas.
Through the county secretariate the county government urged the people in the affected areas to stay calm as within this month the garbage will be collected. The fracas between the county dump sites continue following the closure of V.O.K dump site by the county. It happened after the residents in Kisauni demanded the removal of the dump site or else the will destroy all county properties in the area.
