The Kenya Nation Union for teachers secretary general Wilson Sossion shocked the government today after he announced that he will mobilise the Teachers to vote for Opposition. The KNUT secretary general said in a fundraising in Kisumu that teachers will not vote for Jubilee because they have failed to honour their CBA.

Talking at Harambee the secretary-general said he will have talks with the Opposition to see their stand. The statement was seconded by the KNUT chairman Mudzo Nzili who also added that if the opposition agrees to honour the CBA then they will mobilise even their fellow KUPPET members to do the same.

The Teachers Service Commission rules of going to school over the weekend are to overwork the teachers. The main aim of adding time but not the salaries is what will make the teachers not to vote for Jubilee.
The teachers have been begging for an increase in their salaries because of raised living standards. "If the government will be able to lower the living standards then teachers will have no reason for strikes." says the KNUT chairman Mudzo Nzili. They also threatened to strike if they will not honour the second phase of their CBA.
