The MCA who are gathering in Mombasa at Pride Inn hotel in line with senator meeting brought out some contentious issues that they are in waiting before general elections. Some of the issues brought are about the term limit of the honourable Members.

The MCA took a case to the court appealing for direct constitutional reinterpretation that will make them understand their term limit. This is due to some allegations that the Members of county assembly wanted to have eight months paid after the general elections. It is known that the five-year term will end on February next year.

This issue has brought a lot of misunderstanding in both County and National Assemblies. The court is given until April to finalise the case and each member to take note of whatever the judge will interpret.

The MCA have been alleged to be greedy in the County funds as some created useless, Baseless and un-developmental foreign trips that have incurred a huge cost a lot. The majority of the counties that denied the chance of having foreign trips threatened to impeach their governors. The devolution has been a saying in some counties which have not even tasted the county funds inform developments.
