Just a week after the PNU leader Peter Munya joined the NASA coalition where he was welcomed by the NASA officials, he has made a second thought and went back to Jubilee.

That comes after former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto re-joined Jubilee followed by former Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan. The Meru leader has resorted to being back in Jubilee than be in NASA.

Party of National Unity leader Peter Munya has made a U-turn and backed President Kenyatta’s re-election barely a fortnight after declaring support for Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

“After thorough consultations with party members, elders and supporters across the country, it has been agreed that in the very best interest of the country, we support the re-election of His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta in the forthcoming presidential election,” the letter signed by Munya, Secretary General John Okemwa and Treasurer Peter Nkubitu, said.

The President Uhuru Kenyatta welcomed him back to his party as the Meru community vowed to support Jubileeto infinity. The former Meru Governor has agreed to hunt votes for president Uhuru in the October Presidential polls.
