Nasa supporters have converged at Uhuru Gardens, Mombasa ready for anti-IEBC demo. The demonstrations in Mombasa were boosted by activists and Bodaboda riders who were demonstrating against social injustices in Mombasa and in Kenya at large.
Led by the Mvita legislature Abdulswamad Nassir, the Ant-IEBC demo will continue every Monday and Friday until the specific commissioners evacuate the IEBC offices.
The majority of Muslims in Mombasa have welcomed the move and they will be joining the Friday demonstrations immediately after prayers.
The Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho has ordered the Mombasa legislators to be in the forefront in the demonstrations and will be joining them from Next week. The Governor has been in and out of the courts since September and will be joining thems since the Courts have uplifted and haulted all the filed cases against him.
The members of Parliament whol will lead the todays Demonstration include; Mvita Mp Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, Likoni MP Mishi Mboko, Changamwe MP Omar Mwinyi and the civil society groups.
