The Coast female artist Nyota Ndogo Music godfather is dead. Producer Madebe passed on last night as he was undergoing treatment. The producer has been financing and sponsoring several well known several artists across the coat region.
Nyota Ndogo's music Godfather and mentor, producer Madebe has passed on after he was receiving treatment at one of the Mombasa hospitals after he was diagnosed with a stroke.
Madebe turned Nyota Ndogo from a house-help to a celebrity she is after giving her a rare opportunity to record her first song at his studio for free Celebrated Mombasa-based songstress Mwanaisha Abdullah, popularly known as Nyota Ndogo is in mourning.
Nyota Ndogo, famed for massive hits such as ‘Watu na Viatu’, ’Nibebe’, among others has lost her mentor and music Godfather, producer Madebe. Taking to social media to mourn Madebe; a renown Caucasian music producer, Nyota Ndogo described the deceased as the man who introduced her to music and even gave her the moniker ‘Nyota Ndogo.’
She took to the social media saying that the producer was like everything from the beginning. "Madebe meant a lot to me because he took me from the house where I was a maid and make me to where I'm." Said Nyota Ndogo.
