Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has made it clear that the cause for democratic, free, credible and fair elections is still ongoing. When he arrived at the JKIA, Kalonzo said that NASA supporters should not worry as swearing preparations are underway.

“Yes, he is here,” National Assembly Deputy Minority leader Robert Mbui, a Kalonzo ally said.

“The problem is that the party leader has been absent and I was also injured, so I have been absent,” he said.

“We have a new chairman. Very new — Professor [Kivutha] Kibwana. So all these things have worked against us.

“We’ve talked to our members and insisted that we don’t want to hear voices outside the normal communication channels of the party. We’ve told them to avoid issuing statements on behalf of the party until we clarify.”

“With Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka, who would have been sworn in as Deputy President, out of the country, and with his Wiper party asking that the swearing-in be delayed until his return, the postponement was the only option that existed,” Raila’s adviser Salim Lone said.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to organize his house as it is in discourse. The death of his ally Francis Nyenze created a vacuum in the wiper party and restructuring the party will be the next move.  The wiper leader is expected to address the NASA supporters tomorrow in a public rally.
