 A truck which was being chased by NTSA lost control and hit over 13 vehicles. at a notorious Sachangwan blackspot. The incident included a full passenger loaded Modern Coast bus which was heading to Kampala, Uganda from Nairobi.



The series of collisions involved more than 13 vehicles including a full passenger loaded Modern Coast bus that was headed to Kampala from Nairobi.



At least 15 people have died in horrific multiple crashes at the notorious Sachangwan blackspot on the busy Nakuru-Eldoret highway and other 5 died on the way to Nakuru hospital.



Others were two trucks, a Land Cruiser, two private cars, lorries, shuttles, and three matatus. The number of causalities is likely to go up.



Eye Witnesses said the truck was being chased by National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) officials before it lost control and rammed the other vehicles.



The accident happened just weeks ago where a Kalenjin musician and his band lost their lives just less than 5 Km from the today incident scene.

The NTSA has been urged to use other methods of getting the drivers apart from chasing them on the road.  Which makes drivers break the speed limit laws when they are being chased and in most cases end up with accidents.
