The Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho has condemned the act of Muslim killings in Mombasa by police at the county headquarters. Speaking with the Mombasa members of parliament, the governor said that the extra religious killings that are done the police are not accepted.


During the same function, Nyali member of parliament Hezron Awiti and KIsauni counterpart Hon. Rashid Bedzimba admitted that most of the affected areas are Kisauni and Nyali. The Nyali member of parliament also criticised the police unit and the regional coordinator Nelson Marwa of targeting only religious community in the name of fighting terrorism.


The Mombasa county government donated education materials to families and schools in Mvita constituency which is led by the hon. Abdulswamad Nassir.

The county government as well pledged to secure all the areas across the county."There will be a major demonstration that will show how unity the county is because of the security breach and killings in the county" said the Mvita M.P.

Mombasa and Kilifi counties have been hit by the suspected terror groups which include the Wakali Kwanza and Mombasa republican council (MRC). The county government has issued a notice to all parents who cultivates the groups by allowing their siblings to join will be mapped and crack the groups before the end of this year.
