Today 1st December is a world HIV and AIDS DAY which is celebrated across the world including headquaters with HIV free testing.

Today is the WORLD HIV AIDS day celebrated across the whole world. The world HIV and Aids day are marked with numerous activities in different towns across the world. The liveliness is inline with UNAIDS agenda on living an AIDS-free world in 2030. The majority of cities across the world did a free test and peer coaching in relation to AIDS studies.


According to the United Nations AIDS council, HIV spread is in Alarming rate in Sub-Saharan African countries. The UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibé briefed the UN council about activities to be done in Africa to rescue its people. The US through Obama care promised $300 Billion to Africa in suport of Health and economic issues affecting the continent including Global warming.



Yamina Chakkar, The Director, RST for the Middle East and North Africa, (UNAIDS) insisted that Africa needs alot of support in the fight of the HIV pandemic. She said in a meeting held in 16th November 2016, Geneva, Switzerland.


In the streets of Mombasa, "2 Chill" slogan was all over while others meet at Mama Ngina drive starting from today till Saturday.  There will be a lot of entertainment later from different Coastal Artists including Popular Musicians Susumila, Chikuzee and hopes of ALI KIBA from Tanzania.The area has specialists from different health sectors. Specialists from KEMRI, Family Health Option, AMREF, Redcross and Coast General Hospital in Mombasa are teaching and educate people about HIV.


In Nairobi, Uhuru park is also a home of many people around the city, who wanted to know their status. It also hosts several specialists from Kenyatta National Hospital, AMREF and Redcross who will mentor, guide and teach ways for the youths and others to AVOID contracting HIV. The free sessions will be held until tomorrow.


People are requested to make decisions about their healthy status. Knowing your healthy condition helps while determining your surrounding Environment. Todays' day is being celebrated throughout the world.  People can progress to any public health organisation to seek for guidance and counselling for free or asking any nearby Guidance Conducting group in the town.
