The veteran Radio presenter Michael Wandera passes on in a Nairobi hospital today morning after a short illness. The Radio presenter who worked at the Kenya broadcasting Station for a very long time will be remembered for his zeal in presenting News and other Radio programs like the popular show called Ulimwengu wa Michezo..
Michael Wandera was among the first people in Kenya who worked with VOK in the early 1970s and 80s which upgraded to KBC with other veterans like Mr. Mambo Mbotela and Mr. Fred Obachi. He has sponsored many projects in his community and has left many people especially youths in his community worried who will finish what he started.
First people to send condolences include the NACADA chairman John Mututho and the top leaders in the Media fraternity which includes the NMG directors Mr. Linus Kakai and Mr. Joe Muganda.
