PHOTO Raila Odinga surprises the Nyeri people after he surprisingly visited the area today. The opposition leader had a surprise visit which shocked everyone in the late governor Nderitu Gachagua home. The opposition leader came today morning from Nigeria and went straight to Nyeri for the late Nyeri Governor Nderitu Gachagua burial.


Everyone knew Raila was still in Nigeria and he sent a statement for condolences to the family of the late governor Gachagua. The ODM leader was accompanied by the Siaya Senator James Orengo, Former attorney general Amos Wako and ODM chairman John Mbadi. Raila Odinga gets supper and warm welcome in the burial ceremony.


The ODM leader got a welcome which also shocked the Devolution cabinet secretary Festus Mwangi Kiunjuri who is among the burial organizers. The Nyeri people welcomed Raila at the mass where the president and his deputy is also expected to attend.


The family members also demanded the organizers to change the program that will let the ODM leader have a slot in the leader's speeches. The surprise visit also shocked the statehouse because the preparation did not involve any opposition member.
