The Ruiru aspirants Isaac Mwaura and his opponent Simon King'ara went face to face yesterday in the Jubilee polls. Simon King'ara beat Isaac Mwaura with over 4067 votes. The votes which have not been officially announced due to the misunderstanding between the deputy and returning officer.


It is claimed that Mwaura garnered 4632 while Simon King'ara got 10,900.The third peroson from the race is Esther Gathogo 7,340. The ODM nominated MP claimed that Simon rigged the elections and wanted to have a repeat on the polls.


Isaac Mwaura has allegedly created a scene at Ruiru police station after he claimed to have been shot by his opponents bodyguard in his ear. The police later dismissed the claims saying that the Nominated Mp wanted to have a political mileage.



There are still contentious issues on two polling stations which both aspirants claim that the votes were rigged out in favour of King'ara. When the votes tag of war resolved then they will be added on the main tallied votes. But it looks like one of the polling stations in the fight King'ara lead with a big margin.
