Oburu Odinga failed Bondo polls but he was given the ODM Nomination Certificate.

Drama at Bondo following the nullification of the ODM nominations and the certificate given to Raila Odinga brother Oburu Odinga. The Nominated Mp garnered 4000 votes against Gideon Onyancha who got 28,446. According to the ODM matrix, the votes were in favour of Onyancha who was not in the matrix.

People storm Orange Offices in Bondo demanding to know what method was used to nullify the result. According to ODM officials in Bondo, they conducted another poll but due to insufficient resources, they declared Oburu the Winner with 15,784 against Ochanda's 9538.

Onyancha was surprised for the mix results from the polls and headed to the ODM conflict resolution committee to appeal for the nullification. The Nominated Mp called for celebrations after he has announced the winner of the polls in Bondo yesterday.


The resident in Bondo are claiming the massive irregularities accompanied the elections in favour of Oburu Odinga and they urged others to stay calm as they will not elect Oburu in the coming elections. They will go for another party in the NASA coalition. The ODM in the lake region allegedly to be a family affair.
