The Homabay county Governor Cyprian Awiti's convoy met with a lot of rejection at Oyugis Town Kasipul Sub County. The people heckled him as allegedly bought the ODM certificate rigging him out the beloved leader and people's Governor Hon Joseph Oyugi Magwanga.
On the way to Oyugis town, Awiti convoy was blocked by angry youths who demanded to know how he got the ODM nomination certificate.
Police in the area dispersed the crowd and let the Governor proceeded with his convoy to Oyugis. The Governors' speech was interrupted by the crowd and they did not let the Hon Awiti express himself.
People were chanting " people's Governor Hon Joseph Oyugi" "people's Governor Hon Joseph Oyugi" ODM Governor Cyprian Awiti".
The NASA leader Raila Odinga was urged to have a big rally in the Nyanza region in order to correct the notion of selling ODM certificates to certain individuals that are all over the area.
