The majority of the Kalenjins changed the political focus from Jubilee to NASA. The majority of leaders from the Rift Valley have vowed to help the opposition because they have been held as political hostages by their counterparts.

"We voted for ODM in 2007 hoping that they were to make government. If they made government in 2007 then things would be different now. We could have rescued people from the drought calamity by saving more food. The current government does not have any structures for mitigating situations." Said the Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok.

"Kalenjins have shifted from being political orphans because the DP has nothing to offer in the Rift Valley as his counterpart focuses on his region offsetting debts." said Richard Langat.

The people of Rift Valley should wake up from deep sleep and vote for what it takes to make the country go forward.

"The people we have been struggling together to make the country better have been pocketed. I will always cry loud until the little money we collect every day reaches the common Mwanainchi. We have been always left back because of tribalism. We voted for the opposition in 2007 and now later 2013 we voted to the jubilee. Fortunately, jubilee took charge but nothing has been done. The president is busy offsetting debts for his people and we are at the back celebrating. " Said Bomet governor Isaac Ruto.

The CCM party has been a headache to the Jubilants in the statehouse as the Deputy president William Ruto claim that Rift Valley votes are in his pocket.
