A Catholic priest was found senseless and later died today Morning after being torture for long hours and his car burnt. The body which was seen to strangled through a fight and was taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.


Father Evans Juma Oduor was found unconscious by good Samaritans near a sugarcane plantation at Chiga Market Centre in Muhoroni Sub-county, about 30 kilometers from his Nyabondo Convent Residence. His burnt car was found some five kilometers away.

The Catholic priest who told the regime to stop killing Luos has been found murdered by unknown people and his body dumped in the forest. Father Evans Juma of Ugunja, Siaya, was murdered and his car burnt comes after a few days where five people were buried due to Police Killings.

“Our officers found the man unconscious and he could not speak. He could not be identified so he was booked at the hospital as an unknown patient. He had injuries on the face and hands, and we are still following up on leads that could help us investigate the issue,” said County Police Commander John Kamau.
He has been the Metropolitan of Kisumu Chaplain and the Kisumu Archdiocese Chaplain. Leaders from Kisumu and Bungoma have condemned the Killing and urged the police to commence investigations immediately.
