IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati has said that the polls which were conducted today witnessed at least 48 Percent of registered voters. The Chairman decline to give out results as they streamed at Bomas of Kenya.

IEBC transmission center has been under tight security as the IEBC officials went underground following mixed reactions over voter turnout. The NASA leaders have condemned the Jubilee officials for there move of abusing Raila Odinga over the poll boycott move.

Almost a quarter of the 290 constituencies did not vote and the process will be repeated on Saturday. The IEBC has only seven days to announce the winner.  IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said that tomorrow will be able to give out numbers.
