The former Wiper SG Omar Hassan is expected to grace and join his colleagues in Jubilee at Mvita grounds today. Jubilee top leadership in Mombasa had a meeting yesterday at Nyali with Omar Hassan brainstorming about the ways in which Jubilee will get just more than 100,000 votes in Mombasa.

Jubilee leaders in Mombasa Saturday said former Senator Hassan Omar has been invited to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaign rally today. Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala, businessman Suleiman Shahbal, and other party officials said their engagement with the former Senator has been positive.

“I have been engaging him and we have been working closely. I will talk to him during the cause of the day and invite him to this function,” Balala said.

“We are so close and even half of the petition was sponsored by Jubilee,” Balala claimed. The case, however, was dismissed last week.

National Land Commission (NLC) Chairman Muhammad Swazuri said the president will issue title deeds for the parcels which had been encroached on by grabbers over the years. “The president will be issuing title deeds for parcels that have faced threats from grabbers over the years,” Prof Swazuri said.

Omar Hassan will be featured in the Kilifi rally where the president will be inspecting several projects including the MAriakani-Bamba road, Malindi-Salgate road, and other projects.

Omar Hassan will be officially declared as among the people who will source for president Kenyatta votes in the coast region.
