The former Kilifi Women Representative aspirant Priscilla Munga has urged the Kilifi county residents to have well-validated choices and sober elections in 2022.   She urged women to stay focused and be on the ballot for different posts comes 2022 for their voices to be heard in each level of governance.


She reiterated that the current women representative Gertrude Mbeyu has done a good job in the county by supporting youths and women on the affirmative fund kit from her office.

Speaking in Kilifi where she met women chamas during affirmative devolved funds sensitization drive, the former aspirant urged women to vote wisely and not by money affiliation or handouts that have ruined the county.


"As women should deal with elections matters careful in order to be heard by the coming governments. We need to do businesses as 30% of county tenders belongs to Women, people with disability and youth. We need to make sure we empower ourselves to make our future in leadership better. " she said.


This comes after an agreement that the current women will go for a parliamentary seat and leave another space for another woman. The aim is to make sure Kilifi leadership comprises of a majority women by 2032 elections.
