Former Kerio Valley Development Authority MD David Kimosop has been arrested and detained at JKIA. He is expected to be taken to Embakasi police later in the evening.
Mr Kimosop was detained on Friday morning at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as he returned to the country from Kinshasa in Democratic Republic of Congo.
Mr Kimosop was the only big-name suspect in the Sh63 billion Kimwarer and Arror dams scandal who was yet to be arrested.
Others who were arrested with Kimosop includes his Personal assistant, 2 Members of KVDA and a monetary expert from the Finance Ministry.
