Gamblers in trouble over the new regulations. The government has decided to close all betting companies in Kenya after the suspending their licenses in February.
Among the findings of the Board during vetting is that the companies made a cumulative amount of Ksh.204 billion last year but paid only Ksh.4 billion in taxes.
The Interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang has issued a warning to all companies who will not adhere to the betting rules and regulation that they will face the full force of the law.
