"You are such greedy legislators," says Moses Kuria

A section of Mt. Kenya legislators led by Hon. Moses Kuria has condemned their colleagues over the night allowance raised in the parliament despite the fact that majority of the legislators have houses in Nairobi.

"Why do I have to be paid a night allowance and we stay in our houses. Which mp does not have a house in Nairobi? Does that mean you cannot afford 10,000/- out of the million you get?" Said Gatundu south mp Moses Kuria.

"I will donate it to our hospitals in Gatundu. We cannot have such greedy legislators. We want to raise it from 1.1 Million to 2.1 Million while other people have no a hundred bob for food" he added.
