Burundi students annoy their President Pierre Nkurunziza after they took a video with torn uniforms. President saw the video and slammed parents for not instilling children good morals.


" Children with such characters will be denied upgrade courses like Diplomas," Education Minister said.

The Pictures of Burundian students celebrating the end of exams by tearing up their uniforms have caused so much of a stir they even came up at this week’s national security meeting.

The students, posing for the cameras in their ripped clothes, also marked the end of their high school careers.

In an audio recording circulating online, the headteacher of the school involved threatened to withhold the students’ leaving certificates because of their gross misconduct.


"We are sorry for what happened. But such action will be severe to the minors. Let us go back to the parents before we deal with students. " other government officials added.
