Fighting drugs has been heightened as the DCI move to clean up the business in Kenya. After the arresting of Lamu OCS over drug traficking, DCI have arrested two Prison officers over the same.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested two prison wardens after they were found to have hidden huge amounts of cocaine.

The officers identified as William Chengo and Boniface Kipkorir were captured on CCTV camera on Monday hiding the drugs in a toilet at the Manyani Maximum Security Prison in Voi, Taita Taveta County.

The duos have been supplying the drugs in Voi, parts of Wundanyi and the prisoners at Manyani.
