CS Interior Fred Matiang'i meets all Mombasa county chiefs, Sub-county administrators and Coast region county commissioners in Mombasa. The main agenda in discussions is Security of the county and the region. 


He is expected to visit Bamburi, Kwa bulo, Mishomoroni, Mtopanga, Kiembeni, Junda, Freretown, and Kisauni police posts and community policing centers.

"My mandate is to keep the country safe. "  he said. Speaking at Dog Section at Mishomoroni, he urged all police officers to eliminate all the heads of the suspected groups and their members within shortest time possible.


CS Dr. Fred Matiang'i was accompanied by Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai and DCI boss George Kinoti.

" I urge everybody attending this meeting here to report and take action if falls under his roles. Anyone who fails to do his/her work then will have to be fired," he said at Dog Section.


"Let my officers find these culprits as soon as possible. We need to live in a free and peaceful country." IG added.


" We are going to hunt down, crackdown, bringdown all wakali something... I'm told they are just behind this station. The Gaza, toa tugawe, wakali wote and something have control bases. I need those bases to be cleaned up and closed. " CS Fred Matiang said.


He is visiting Mombasa for three days. He is expected to meet other officials in the county in preparation for the ASK and (tukutane) Mombasa cultural festival. The ASK show will be officially opened by President Uhuru Kenyatta in September.


He will visit Mombasa waterfront which is expected to be opened by DP William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga this month.[no-sidebar]
