Ganze herders are untouchable, residents claim

Despite the push by the Ganze Mp Teddy Mwambire on the herders in Bamba ward, the residents are still crying for the herders.

The Mp gave the herders ultimatum which fell in the deaf ears. The residents claim that some county officials have blocked the push for evacuating the herders.

"We believe there are county workers who are behind it. The pastoralists have confidence that despite the mp push they are untouchable" Birya Menza a resident said.

Meanwhile, a Mariakani, Kaloleni constituency resident murdered by pastoralist today. Mr. Chengo Mgalla died when he was defending his crops from the herders who invaded his shamba.

Residents reported the matter to the Mariakani Police Station but until now no action has been taken against the pastoralists.
