Deputy President William Ruto attended a church service at  ACK church in Changamwe, Mombasa. Speaking before the church service, DP Ruto insisted on the big four as the government put in place mechanisms to sustain the big four projects.

"We have put in place mechanisms to make sure vision 2030 is attained. We are on course to establish and make good use of our infrastructure, " said the DP.

The deputy president was welcomed by Jomvu Member of Parliament Badi Twalib, Coast region Coordinator John Elungata, Coast region ACK bishops, Msambweni MP Rashid Mwashetani, Mombasa deputy governor William Kingi, Mombasa county MCAs among others.

" We are talking of thousands of people connected to electricity, we have constructed roads across the country, we have upgraded schools, markets, recreational points among others. Our aim is to make sure there is a business in the country, " Deputy President added in the church service speech.

He commented on the issue of the referendum in his speech.

"I will support the referendum if the interest of a common mwananchi is included. But adding a wage bill, adding government seats, expanding the government and oppressing the tax payer, I will not allow it, " he added.
