KAA boss Jonny Anderson resigns citing personal reasons. The move comes after the parliament wants Kenya Airways to be managed by KAA.

Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) CEO Jonny Anderson will be leaving on September 30, 2019, two months before his 3-year term expires citing personal reasons.

"Most notably, Jonny will be remembered for leading the team in achieving the of the Last Point of Departures status for JKIA, paving the way for direct flights between the USA and Kenya,” reads the statement.

"In the meantime, the Board will appoint an acting CEO and exercise closer oversight to ensure a smooth transition,” said KAA chairman Isaac Awuondo.

The KAA will publish the post for competitive individuals to apply.   He is also linked to Kenya Airways job as the KQ continue to make losses.
