Some of the contents the courses covered includes;
  • Computer Hardware fundamentals.
  • Computer repair and maintenance
  • Computer devices like printers, Mobile devices, Networking and security devices troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Software installation in all devices
  • Networking devices configurations and security systems
  • Cyber Security among others

The county government of Mombasa is expecting to train more youth in cybersecurity and computer experts courses.

"The reasons why we found Mombasa the best place to train people in ICT is because of the increased number of ICT devices in the city. Lack of personnel to repair, maintain and use correctly the technology, " said Mombasa deputy Governor Dr. William Kingi.

"We are beating unemployment with embracing self-employment. The graduands can firm groups and come for loans to establish their businesses. Mombasa is strategic across the Coastal region, " he added.
