Mombasa residents protest over corrupt judges. The protesters blocked Mombasa Mtwapa road at White Sands hotel where the annual judge's conference was happening.
A section of Mombasa County residents on Thursday morning held demonstrations against the Judiciary.
They accused the Judiciary of corruption and protecting drug lords in Mombasa Country.

The residents, who marched at the gate of Sarova Whitesands Beach and Resort citing the Chief Justice David Maraga and other Supreme court judges to be sacked as are the ones derailing justice in the country.

"We cannot have a system where it's corrupt from the top to the bottom. It's unless the President cleans up or the parliament to act. They have consistently defended drug lords in the country despite the efforts of DPP and DCI, " said Abdulrahman Abdi Hassan one of the protesters.
