Sportpesa is almost through with the Safaricom paybill restoration. The firm was cleared by KRA  on Monday and BLCB on Tuesday. 


According to the press statements, Sportpesa will be back and full online from Monday Next week as Safaricom gave 2-3 days to work on their payments plans.


Betting firm SportPesa is set to make a return to the betting industry following a prolonged two months absence prompted by the revocation of its business operational license. 



In a statement disclosed on Tuesday, the firm operated by the Pevans East Africa Limited said its license was renewed by the BCLB after being cleared by KRA.



"There has been notable progress in these sessions and we are pleased that KRA has now cleared us to have our license renewed. SportPesa is confident that these processes will be completed soon allowing the company to resume full operations,” read the statement.


" Safaricom has given us hope that within 2-3 Working days, the paybill numbers and payment infrastructure will be set. We will be back to business from Monday Next week, " said CEO Ronald Karuri.
