Following the office of the deputy President working hard and being on the ground for development purposes, Deputy President William Ruto was honored with an East African recognition award.
The award was given at statehouse where the President applauded his deputy for working hard.
"I urge Cabinet secretaries to copy from the deputy president. You were appointed to serve the people not staying and seating in your offices. " President Uhuru Kenyatta said.
East Africa Book of Records and Public Opinion International awards Deputy President DP William Samoei Ruto with the East Africa Leadership Award for the year 2019.
