Governor Joho said that BBI will focus on changing the political status in Kenya. He added that it will help in embracing peace and unity in the country.
Mombasa residents who vowed to demonstrate every Monday for the Trucks-SGR row said, Mombasa needs something else, not BBI.
" We have been denied our livelihood by forcing SGR. We are at limbo that Mombasa Businesses are dead. Mombasa is dirty and stinking while the Governor is talking about BBI, " Omar Chome said.
" Building ridges Initiative(BBI), is a way of fostering unity and achieving peace and cohesion in our country. I believe this noble initiative will be one of the surest ways of building a prosperous Kenya." Mombasa governor Ali Joho explained.
