Kilifi governor Amason Kingi summoned by National Cohesion and Integration Commission for hate speech. He was believed to have incited Mijikendas against Arabs in Kilifi county and Coast as a whole.

Kilifi governor Amason Kingi also brought a contentious issue for his county unity.  

It is said that the governor at the summon also called upon the Malindi Mp Aisha Jumwa to surrender all the differences they have and begin a new chapter.


The Governor forgave the Malindi legislature added that he wanted her to do so.


The governor was accompanied by Kilifi North MP Owen Baya and Malindi Mp Aisha Jumwa.

The Mashujaa day was the onset of the governors' troubles after he talked about Coastal land ownership.

The two legislatures who accompanied the governor also wanted the NCIC to go to the ground and seek information.

" The truth is that historical land injustice on the coast is there and will be there until we talk about it. History is there unless we burn all history books, " the governor said.


"I have forgiven my sister, the Malindi legislature, let her find somewhere in her heart and forgive me due to our past differences, " the governor added.
