Deputy President William Ruto has condemned the Nation Media dailies for publishing fake news. The Daily Nation Newspaper has been constantly been accused of publishing false news by top Government officials.
"FAKE NEWS! What a contradicting headline." Deputy President accusations were posted it on his twitter handle.
In 2017, Daily Nation was accused by the ODM leader Raila Odinga for publishing false news about his family and how they engage in the party politics.
Later, the newspaper was accused by the government for publishing false news including tainting President Uhuru Kenyatta image. The same Daily Nation has been accused by the Deputy President for publishing false information about him talking about the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
