JKIA, Wilson airport and some CBD roads closed for Jamhuri -CS Matiang'i

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA ) and Wilson Airport will be closed for the Jamhuri Day Celebrations. 

The temporary closure will see JKIA closed between 11 am and 12 pm during which no flights will be allowed to take off or land. Wilson Airport will experience a 5-hour closure between 9 am and 2 pm 

Some of the roads heading to these airports are also closed. Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'I said more roads at the CBD will also be closed for security purposes.
