Ksh. 3 Million worth executive Sofa for Kisumu county assembly disappears

Kisumu county assembly sofa worth Ksh. 3M disappears from the speakers' house. The seats which were to be taken to the county assembly next week disappeared.

Furniture worth Ksh.3million has reportedly disappeared from the Speaker’s house that belongs to the Kisumu County Assembly.

The incident at the posh Milimani estate prompted the county assembly to lodge a formal complaint at the Kisumu Central Police Station.

Acting Clerk Owen Ojuok told Citizen Digital that the cabinets, executive sofa sets, TV, executive bed and other furniture belong to the County Assembly.

According to him, they were to be handed over by former Speaker Onyango Oloo after the court ruling on his impeachment case.
