Kenya Navy retrieve the body of the driver who plunged into the Indian ocean at Likoni ferry.


The team also retrieved the saloon car.  The 46 years John Mutinda had an urgent appointment at 6.00 am at Vanga.


The deceased told his wife that he had an urgent appointment, the wife Ruth Mueni tried to hide the car keys but failed.



The body of John Mutinda the driver of the ill-fated car KBX 475B that plunged earlier at Likoni ferry retrieved and taken to the coast general mortuary.


" Early this morning we had another tragic moment at the Likoni ferry channel where a saloon car plunged into the Indian Ocean from the Likoni mainland ramp. I immediately dispatched a unit from our inspectorate department to join a multi-agency rescue team in the ongoing operation." Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho said.
