Embakasi East Mp Babu Owino says did not intend to shot DJ Evolve. He added that he was just defending himself and that is why he had to take the DJ to the hospital.
Cliff Ombeta, the lawyer for Babu Owino, says that his client was approached in a non-friendly manner by DJ Evolve leading to a physical fight in B Club. “Eventually, somebody was shot,” Ombeta said. He added that his client's reaction was "understandable".
“It's Babu Owino who took the victim to the hospital. The DJ is stable. Babu paid for the medical bill and vowed to continue paying.” the lawyer Cliff Ombeta stated.
