Several people are nursing injuries after a gang from Bangla, Tudor descended at the Kibarani recreational park new year celebrations with machetes.
The new year celebrations were attended by Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and his deputy Dr. William Kingi.
Immediately after the governor left the park, the gang took over the park pickpocketing while others terrorizing attendants.
More than 30 people have been admitted at the Coast general hospital with severe injuries from the attack. The police have arrested 3 people in connection with the attacks. The trio is expected to lead the police to arrest the rest. They are recognized as the leaders of the killer gang.
