President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered the Ministry of trade to start constructing and implementing small business centers across the country.
He added that the "Biashara centers" will make more Kenyans open businesses and get more revenue for the government to accomplish the big four agenda.
“Inline also with one of the recommendations for policy change in the BBI report, ‘Biashara Centres’ will be established across the country to provide a huduma type of one-stop-shop to provide business development services under one roof…” President Uhuru Kenyatta stated.
“I urge the Central Bank of Kenya to use the full range of instruments of regulation and policy at its disposal to prevent predatory lending and to ensure that banks can offer loans at affordable interest rates” - Uhuru Kenyatta added.
The Government wants to know where businesses are and tax them...
