Cabinet Secretary ICT Joe Mucheru and Cabinet Secretary Interior security Dr. Fred Matiang'i visited Swahili port hub where they learned how technology can be integrated into entertainment and solving day to day activities.



" CS @mucheru and I visited the @swahilipothub. We were impressed by the talent and zeal for innovation being demonstrated by the youth.Through art and adoption of ICT,they have also been offering long-lasting solutions to different problems,thus, positively impacting the Coastal Region, " he CS interior Fred Matiang'i stated.


Dr. Fred Matiang'i was impressed after he was taken around the hub. Development director Ruth Kaveke outlined the challenges youth face in Mombasa. 


Mr. Mahmoud Noor, the Patron and Chairman of Swahilipot Hub took the two cabinet secretaries Fred Matiang'i and Joe Mucheru around the hub and they were impressed and the ICT CS promised to assist where necessary in the talent development hub.


" Drug abuse and unemployment is the core problem we have in Mombasa. Innovation and talent development is what we decided to venture  in as a community to help our people, " Mahmoud Noor, Patron and Chairman of Swahilipot Hub said.
