Locusts control board through the Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri is asking for Ksh 254 Million more to fight the menace.
The Agriculture CS also urged people to take photos of Locusts whenever they come across. He insisted that these photos will help to identify the other areas affected.
" Take photos of locusts and post them on Social Media. If you come across any. We will be able to find out which areas are heavily infested or will be affected by the desert locusts, " the Agriculture CS said.
The CS asked the treasury to facilitate Ksh 254 Million in order to fight the locusts in the next 14 days.
