Francis Mtumwa is a political analyst and a businessman in Nairobi. In opinions today, Mtumwa focusses on BBI and the political parties' administration.
The ODM leader Raila Odinga is very smart. Let's start from his super governors Ali Hassan Joho, Amason Kingi, Wycliffe Oparanya, Cyprian Awiti, Okoth Obado, Cornel Rasanga, Josphat Nanok among others. All these super ODM political technocrats are all in the second term.
Jubilee party also has the same set of governors who are now fighting for the regional positions.
The Only way these fellows could still be used in ODM is by creating positions for them. That's why he opted for three tiers government where we are going to have a regional political office, county political office, constituency and ward level offices respectively.
BBI is a tool to propagate Raila Odinga to the top position. But it is not really known if he will vie for the seat in regard to his age.
We are living in an interesting time where our leaders thought of themselves. The country is plunged to huge debts and more are still being borrowed.
What is BBI? Do the country need and ready for BBI? The Jordan Crocodile narrative was used to short change ANC, FORD KENYA, WIPER and other parties that were in NASA.
BBI was to be done in three faces.
1) Collecting views
2) Creating a report and presenting ut to the people for reviews.
3. Methods to use to officialize the document, i.e through a referendum or through parliament.
Now BBI has changed to Raila Ooooh! Ruto haaaaa! sought of misplaced minds. There was nothing like BBI rallies in the beginning.
A month now went no Kenyan(normal) git the report. Rumors say the Document was uploaded on a certain website where Kenyans can download and print for themselves.
What about these mothers and fathers in the rural areas where they only eat just a dollar a day? They do not understand anything to do with websites. Who will tell them the contents of BBI?
