Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) rallies will continue as scheduled in all counties or regions. The Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i rest assured that nothing will stop the rallies.

The statement comes after Nakuru and Uasin Gishu residents vowed to stop the rallies after what happened in Narok.

" I hear some individuals saying that they will not allow BBI rallies to take place in their areas or if they take part in those areas then they will dictate what will happen, " the Cabinet Secretary said.

" I want to tell them that BBI is a government project and BBI rallies will take place wherever and whenever without conditions and It's Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta who get to choose what happens in those rallies. I want to also warn those in government opposing the president that you will have a very rough year, I don't care who you are, " he added.
