New CAS gets unfriendly treatment at a ministry for his pride.

One Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) is said to be having a stormy time in the ministry he was posted to. Its also said some functions in the ministry have been paralysed because of him as his juniors boycott his directives.


The CAS is said to have been received with a lot of hostility by the ministry’s staff, including the Cabinet Secretary and Principal Secretary because of his pride and know-it-all mindset.


To make it worse, he appears to have started on the wrong footing by issuing sacking threats to senior officials, some of whom were his lecturers at the university.
