SportPesa Chief Executive Officer Ronald Karauri re-assured the firm's efforts to return to the Kenyan market.  The boss explained that the company was in the final stages of getting back to the market with the current stakeholders.

SportPesa was among gambling companies that shut down operations in the country over new tax regulations, including a 20% excise tax on all betting stakes.

And after months of uncertainty, Karauri has hinted the giant betting company is still keen to resume operations in the country.

The News comes after Everton FC confirmed they are to end their shirt partnership agreement with the Kenyan betting firm.
