Sad news as the 17yrs girl Shukran Masha who died inside the police station cells in Bamba, Kilifi county was hit by a blunt object and raped postmortem reveals. In Conclusion, the Bamba Police officers raped and killed the girl.
According to the postmortem report witnessed by the FAMILY, HAKI AFR ICA, IMLO, IPOA, KILIFI MUMS among others, there was head injury(left side), suffocation, bleeding in private parts, torn clothes were among other murder features seized.
According to the Pathologist, the official report will NOT be given to the family but will be issued to IPOA and the POLICE.
The 17-year-old girl, who was about seven months pregnant, had begged her parents to allow her to deliver her baby and get married before resuming school.
But on Tuesday, her mother took her to Bamba Police Station to get advice on the matter which later found out that her child died at the Police station.
" My wife wanted the police to give her a note to allow her to stay home until she gives birth. But at around midnight, I was called by my other daughter telling me that my last born had committed suicide. I was shaken, shocked, ” said Masha Kazungu, the father.
There will be demonstrations at Bamba following the Police actions by HAKI AFRICA and the Residents.
The police involved in the killing of should be jailed for life.
